Zachary Douglas Fossmeyer
Plainfield High School
Zachary graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Academic Honors Diploma, was a member of the National Honor Society, and was awarded Best Business Student, along with his DECA partner- He placed 3rd in the state DECA competition. He moved on to the National competition, and his We the People team placed 3rd in the state.
He plans to attend Indiana University- Bloomington at the Kelley School of Busines this fall.
Zachary’s favorite memory is getting toexperience traveling to Alaska during a mission trip. I enjoyed hiking, 24-hour daylight, and digging for gold. He might have gotten into trouble drinking water from the creek during his hike by Mt. Denali!
Nate Barcus
Decatur Central High School
Nate will be attending Ivy Tech majoring in Criminal Justice.
His favorite memories from PUMC are of the trip to Boundary Waters, playing jailbreak at the lock-Ins, and Mrs. Preusch’s incredible cooking at bible study.
Annalise Marie Kirchoff
Plainfield High School
Annalise graduated with an honors Cum Laude.
She will be attending Ball State University beginning this fall. She plans to major in Family and Child: Childhood Life to pursue a career as a Child Life Specialist at a children’s hospital.
Her favorite memory is being part of the Youth Worship Band and serving others while on missions trips with the youth group.
Kate Teagan Simek
Plainfield High School
Kate graduated magna cum laude; selected for a 4-year Marine Corps ROTC scholarship. She also received the Major Robert Burke Koho Memorial Award for Patriotism and scholarships from Distinguished Young Woman, Plainfield Rotary, Tri Kappa, the Purdue Alumni Club of Hendricks County, and the Daniels School of Business.
She will attend Purdue University to study finance and political science with a minor in naval science. She will be a Marine option Navy ROTC midshipman and plans to commission as a Marine officer after earning her bachelor’s degree.
Sam Summers
Avon High School
Sam has joined the Indiana Air Force National Guard and has his first drill this weekend. Once he finishes basic training, he hopes to start pilot training.
His favorite memory is the canoe trip, but Costa Rica was incredible too.
