Family Promise of Hendricks County

For almost a decade now, PUMC (Plainfield United Methodist Church) has been working with Family Promise to transform the lives of families experiencing poverty and homelessness in Hendricks County. As they approach their 10th anniversary next year, they are proud to continue supporting this important cause.

One of the ways PUMC is helping is by providing hot meals to families staying in an emergency shelter for four weeks every year. Recently, they completed their fourth week of meal service for seven families, ensuring they have access to nutritious food during a difficult time.

In addition, PUMC collects donations for the Stability Builder’s Network, which provides essential support for homeless people and those struggling to make ends meet. They recently collected diapers in December and will collect laundry detergent in January

Suppose you are interested in supporting this cause. You can drop off your donations at the Door 1 lobby or the Donation Depot. Every donation, big or small, can make a difference in the lives of those who need support and assistance.
