Over these 6 weeks, we will read and discuss UMC Pastor Mike Slaughter’s book Change the World: Daily Inspiration to Make a Difference. Mike writes what we know to be true: Church is a verb. Linking Bible study to global mission and local service projects, this study enables small groups within congregations to discuss and act on the imperatives of scriptures. We will read Pastor Mike’s book, study scripture, watch short video clips of the mission in action, and pray and dream together how we will Follow, Welcome, Feed, Heal, Rescue, and Go!
