This week: Brandon Intro & “The Heart of It All”
We will explore the two greatest commandments Jesus gave: to love God with everything we are and to love our neighbor as ourselves. These commands can transform our relationships, communities, and faith. We will discuss what it means to love God fully, how to truly love others, and why these two commands cannot be separated.
Read ahead: Matthew 22:36–40 and Mark 12:28–34.
Help Plan the Fall Kickoff Cookout
This year’s cookout is a joint event with the men’s group. They will handle the food (hog roast), and youth will organize games, activities, and possibly music with Bluetooth speakers. The planning team needs youth input. Let Brandon know if you can help so you can be invited to the planning meeting.
Serve With the PUMC Homeless Ministry
We need two youth volunteers on the first Monday of each month. The next open date is Sept. 8. Additional dates are available. Sign up by the youth room.
