In 2026, Plainfield UMC will again partner with Family Promise to support local families working toward stable housing. We’re inviting volunteers to take one night of meals—providing dinner for the guests in the program. This can be done by an individual, a family, or a small group. Volunteers are also welcome, and encouraged, to stay and share the meal. Staying is optional, but it’s a meaningful way to offer warmth, dignity, and community.
PUMC will provide meals during these weeks:
- Jan. 25–31, 2026
- April 12–18, 2026
- July 12–18, 2026
- Nov. 8–14, 2026
We need your help. Choose a night, gather others if you’d like, and sign up to provide a meal. Your care brings comfort and stability to families working hard to rebuild their lives.

A shared meal can be a moment of comfort, connection, and hope—let’s show our neighbors they’re not alone.
