Kids Connection Summer Camp Need Your Help!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Do you have a particular skill or interest you’d love to share with young minds eager to learn? If so, we’re looking for volunteers like you to join us for our exciting Kids Connection Summer Events!

We have a variety of activities planned, and we need enthusiastic individuals to assist us on our field trips and small group sessions.

Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Fishing Enthusiasts Wanted: We need your expertise if you’re licensed to fish in Indiana and love the outdoors! Join us for a field trip where you can help kids learn the art of fishing. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or enjoy casting a line, your guidance will make a world of difference to these young adventurers.
  • Scrap-booking Small Group: Are you crafty and creative? We’re seeking volunteers to lead a small group focused on scrap-booking on Thursdays, 4-5 p.m. during the summer. Share your skills and help kids unleash their imagination as they create beautiful scrapbook projects to cherish for years.
  • Crochet Small Group: Calling all crochet enthusiasts! We’re looking for volunteers to teach kids the art of crochet in a small group setting. The Crochet group will meet each Tuesday from 4-5 p.m. during the summer. Whether you’re an expert with a hook or starting out, your patience and passion for the craft will inspire and empower young learners.
  • Share Your Special Interest: Do you have a unique hobby or skill you’d love to introduce to kids? Whether it’s photography, gardening, cooking, or something entirely different, we welcome volunteers who are eager to share their special interests with our young participants. This is a unique opportunity to inspire and ignite a passion in the next generation. Get creative and let your passion shine!

Investing in the lives or experiences of children can profoundly impact children’s lives. It’s not just about what you can give, but also what you can gain. Ready to get involved? 🎉 Celebrate Pastor Charlie’s Retirement with Us! 🎉

You’re cordially invited to join us in commemorating Pastor Charlie’s retirement on Sunday, June 16th. Following the 8:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. services, we’ll gather in the main lobby for a heartfelt reception. Additionally, at 11:00 a.m., you’ll have the opportunity to personally greet the Wilfongs in a receiving line at the front of the sanctuary.

Let’s come together to honor Pastor Charlie’s dedicated service and wish him well in this new chapter of life. As Matthew 25:23 reminds us, “The master said, Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Your presence will truly make this celebration memorable. We look forward to seeing you there!
