Attention, friends! Please note the change to our worship schedule for next Sunday, July 7. Due to unique circumstances, there will be no Classic worship at 10:00 AM. Classic worship at 8:45 AM in the sanctuary will proceed as usual. We will have the NewDay Praise worship at 10:00 AM in the Worship Annex.
We deeply appreciate your understanding and flexibility in adapting to this temporary change. Your commitment to our church family is truly valued, and we eagerly look forward to seeing you next Sunday!

We invite you to join us for a 4-week study on the purpose and power of prayer. This enriching series, designed to deepen your understanding of prayer, will take place on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the Wesley Room, beginning on July 10 and concluding on July 31. By participating, you will not only connect with fellow members but also enrich your spiritual journey.
Each week, a different leader will guide our interactive sessions, which will cover topics discussed by a diverse group of clergy and lay members from our church. Every session will conclude with a prayer challenge or activity throughout the week, fostering personal and communal growth in our prayer lives.
This study is an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of prayer, and more importantly, to connect with fellow members, fostering a sense of belonging and enriching your spiritual journey. If you are interested in participating, please get in touch with the church office, Pastor Abby (alietz@pumc.org), or Kathy Perry (ke_perry@hotmail.com).
We look forward to seeing you in July and growing together in faith through this meaningful exploration of prayer.

This year’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) theme, “Start the Party,” is about spreading Jesus’s good news and engaging in missions to share His message with others. These missions are not just tasks. They are opportunities to reach out to different communities and spread love and kindness to those in need. Each mission, including Homeless Ministry, Foster Care, Madina Village Children, and Family Promise, has the potential to make a significant impact. Your donations are the key to making these missions impactful and successful, and your support is invaluable.
During each day of the Vacation Bible School, a special visitor will talk about a specific mission in which each child can actively participate. The missions chosen for this year’s VBS include:
To ensure that these missions are carried out effectively and that each child can actively participate, the following donations are needed:
These items will create meaningful experiences for the missions identified, such as organizing birthday celebrations, providing essential supplies to those in need, and spreading joy and love through various activities.
By uniting as a community and generously donating these items, we can significantly impact the lives of those we reach out to through these missions. Your contributions are not just items. They are a vital part of creating memorable experiences and sharing the message of Jesus in a tangible and meaningful way. Your involvement is what makes these missions possible and impactful.
Let’s join hands and support these missions to make this year’s Vacation Bible School a genuinely enriching and impactful experience for all involved. We are deeply grateful for your generosity and support in spreading the good news of Jesus through missions. Your contributions, no matter how big or small, are invaluable and make a significant difference. Thank you for being a part of this meaningful journey!
