Our mission at Plainfield UMC is to serve the families and children of our community by providing a secure, Christian environment filled with love and acceptance. We help our children grow in Christ-like values such as integrity, honesty, responsibility, self-discipline, and spirituality. To accomplish our mission, we seek skilled and experienced part-time staff who can support our program.
- For the leadership position, candidates must have experience working with children and be able to assist with homework, plan activities for school-age children, and be punctual, reliable, and able to pass a background check.
- For the driver position, candidates must have experience working with children, be willing to transport children to and from school and/or field trips during the summer and be comfortable driving a 12-passenger van.
You may choose one or both positions! Candidates for both positions must be available to work between 7:00 and 8:30 a.m. and/or 3:30 and 6:00 p.m. on school days (with the potential to pick up more hours). Summer hours are flexible between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
