Plainfield United Methodist’s United Women in Faith, formerly United Methodist Women, is preparing a wonderful custom cookbook featuring favorite recipes from our members and others within the church. The cookbook will be professionally published and will indeed become a treasured keepsake.
We also feature many of Phil Heffelman’s well-loved soup recipes from the Homeless Ministry at PUMC. Since he retired from the ministry, Phil has graciously offered to share his recipes for this extraordinary cookbook.
This fundraiser benefits Lucille Raines Residence in Indianapolis, which helps people recovering from alcohol and drug addiction. Learn more about Lucille Raines Residence at the bottom of this email or visit their website at lucillerainesresidence.org.
If you would like to submit a recipe, please submit 3–5 of your favorite recipes by September 1, so you can be represented in our group’s cookbook. You are welcome to email your recipes to LeeAnn, LeeAnn.overbey@gmail.com, or printed recipes can be dropped off at the church office.
Recipes from all are appreciated and welcome!
Your name will be printed with each of your recipes. Thank you for contributing recipes, as this will help ensure our cookbook will be a huge success.
