Kids are warmly invited to be part of our service, bringing their voices and creativity to our community! From reading passages to sharing their own art, children will have the chance to express themselves in meaningful ways, enriching our time together. This is a wonderful opportunity for young ones to grow in confidence, connect with others, and explore their talents in a supportive, joyful space. Let’s celebrate the unique gifts they bring to our church family! For more information or to get involved, please reach out to Pastor David at dneuen@pumc.org. We can’t wait to see what our young ones create!
November is shaping up to be a month of giving, gathering, and good cheer with the United Women in Faith! Throughout the month, the United Women in Faith will collect games and toys for children ages 6-12 to benefit families at Fletcher Place and School 34. This effort allows us to brighten the holiday season for local children, sharing a bit of joy and bringing smiles to those who need it most. Donations can be placed in the designated barrels at the Donation Depot, and we’ll ensure that each toy and game finds its way to these wonderful families.
November 12 will bring more sweet fun as the Rachel Circle dons their aprons in the church kitchen at 2:00 PM to prepare buckeye candies for the December candy sale. These delightful treats will surely be a hit—and who can resist a sample?
In the spirit of friendship, the Hope Circle will meet for a lively game night at 7:00 PM on November 12 in the Koinonia Room. Later in the month, Mary Martha Circle will gather for a special World Thank Offering meeting on November 20 at 2:00 PM in the Wesley Room, celebrating gratitude and global giving.
All women are welcome to join these vibrant groups—drop in anytime to experience the joy of community, faith, and fun!

October was Pastor Appreciation Month—a time to honor the incredible dedication of pastors, priests, ministers, and all church staff who serve with love, care, and unwavering commitment. Here at PUMC, we are truly blessed by our pastors and staff, whose work goes far beyond Sunday services. They’re there during life’s most significant moments—baptisms, weddings, funerals—providing guidance, comfort, and spiritual care. Whether it’s a late-night phone call, a hospital visit, a meeting, or a prayer for our needs, their devotion shines through.
Let’s continue to show our appreciation! Although October has passed, we’ll be celebrating Pastor Appreciation Month in November as well. Consider sending a card, a note, or a prayer to express how much they mean to us. Their tireless dedication is a true blessing to our church family, and they deserve our heartfelt gratitude. May God richly bless them and our entire church community!
