Christmas Memories: The Stories That Warm Our Hearts and Inspire Hope

As the Christmas season draws near, we want to make it extra special by inviting you to participate in our upcoming video series. We are looking for 7-10 people of all ages to create heartwarming videos to be featured during worship and on social media throughout Advent. Videos will be made in an “interview style” and shot at the church, and we would be thrilled if you shared your most cherished Christmas memory with us. Your unique and inspiring story can bring joy and inspiration to others during this festive season. We eagerly await hearing from you and becoming part of your holiday memories. If interested, please get in touch with Eiric Shriner at eshriner@pumc.org for more information. Thank you for considering sharing your story with us.

Threshold Singers

Threshold Singers of Hendricks County is a group of women who provide a calming environment at the bedside by singing gentle, peaceful, and soothing music. They sing in groups of 3-4 to create a feeling of peace and comfort for patients and their loved ones. The music is appropriate for people at or near “the threshold” of life, regardless of their spiritual beliefs. Their music is their gift, free of charge.

If your loved one is receiving end-of-life care and would benefit from being sung to, contact Carol Foxworthy at 317.626.4382 to schedule a singing. Additionally, you can call Carol to learn more about joining the group.
